Chelsea have denied that they have reached an agreement to sign Daniel Alves from Sevilla, despite reports in both Spain and England stating that a deal had been done.
At early hours there were lots of news floating that Chelsea had reach an agreement for Daniel Alves for 36m Euros.
The Premiership outfit were believed to have finally succeeded in their quest to prise the Brazilian away from the Andalucian side, but they have now stated it not true.
"Contrary to reports from Spain, Chelsea Football Club has not reached an agreement for the transfer of Daniel Alves from Sevilla," a statement on Chelsea's official website said.
"Chelsea FC has confirmed its interest in the player to the club but as yet there is no agreement."
Alves has been left out of Sevilla's squad for their Champions League qualifier against AEK on Wednesday so that he will not be cup-tied if he were to move.
This delay means another anxious waiting for the Chelsea fans 7 also for Madrid fans for Robben.Reports also suggested that R.madrid also had interest for alves but chances to capture both players look impossible since Chelsea will open the door for Robben only if they capture alves in other words R.Madrid had to get out of the way. Let's see what happens!
