Serb Admits Italian Dream

Serbian star Branislav Ivanovic has admitted that he would not be able to say no to a move to Serie A.

The 23-year-old defender is currently with Lokomotiv Moscow, who he joined last year from OFK Belgrade.

Ivanovic shone at the recent European Under 21 Championship, and was named in Uefa's team of the tournament.

Juventus have long been linked and are understood to be leading the chase for his signature, and Ivanovic admits he would love to ply his trade in Italy.

Dream

"Serie A would be something of a dream, and impossible to say no to," Ivanovic told Tuttosport.

"Are they [Juve] looking at me, who knows? But it would be up to Lokomotiv to decide."

Whilst Juventus are seemingly in pole-position for Ivanovic - who is at home in midfield - he is also attracting interest from England.

Chelsea's Russian contacts are believed to have recommended him to The Blues, whilst Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic is reported to have given his manager Sir Alex Ferguson a glowing reference about his fellow countryman
