Real Madrid may be expecting the transfer of Arjen Robben to be completed shortly but another target is not for moving.Michael Ballack, who is currently recovering from a second ankle operation, has denied that he has any intention of even contemplating a move to the Bernabue.
The German, who had a mixed first season at Stamford Bridge, was thought to be the intended target for a bid in the region of £20 million.
A leading media source, quoting an insider at Stamford Bridge, had this to say,
"We are expecting a bid form Real Madrid for Arjen Robben and if that is acceptable then things could move very quickly."
"But there is absolutely no chance that Ballack will be leaving with him."
"Michael has told us he is happy to stay and we are happy to keep him."
